On Normandy Boulevard

About a third of a mile west of 295 across the street from Publix businesses are coming back to the Normandy Village shopping Plaza. Agility Pet resort is opening a grooming Salon called Agility Pet Grooming and Supplies. The salon will be managed by Amanda we have used Amanda for our own grooming needs in the past. Amanda is a very pet considerate person who shares our point of view about treatment of pets. Amanda herself is a pet owner also, she owns both dogs and cats. She is also the mother of two children so needless to say she has a great deal of patience and love. We have been taking our personal pets to her for years, Merlyn is our Persian cat and he takes lots of love and attention which she has shown. Amanda is the first groomer to say to me that Merlyn enjoyed being groomed.  I will add Merlyn seems very comfortable around Amanda not scared. Merlyn is the reason after looking at other things we pursued getting Amanda as our manager and  grooming instructor.

A little more about Amanda.

First off she learned to Groom right here in Jacksonville. At A Gentle Touch Pet Grooming where she started out as their bather and started learning her grooming skills. She worked there for awhile as a full time groomer. Then she moved to Pet World in Mandrian which gave her a larger variety of dogs. She continued improving at the grooming arts. She seemed to progress quite naturally and was last working at Dip -n- Clip as lead groomer, that’s where we made contact with her. Amanda had several stylists under her tutorage there and is looking forward to being able to teach more. So if you know Amanda call her and make an appointment if not, try her she will not disappoint your grooming expectations.
